1994 – 2007 Secondary Education

The Immokalee Foundation:  (2006) The Immokalee Foundation is a local non-profit organization that raises millions of dollars each year for student scholarships. Students were directed to design their own unique art and paint their work on large pottery vessels. The pottery vessels were used as table centerpieces during the annual dinner at The Immokalee Foundation’s Golf Scholarship Fundraiser in Naples, Florida. Each ceramic pot was filled with fresh flowers matching the students’ color scheme. My art program was presented with a check for $10,000.00 as a gift for our dedication to produce professional work.

The Immokalee Foundation Pottery Project

Students created their own unique designs to decorate pottery for The Immokalee Foundation Golf Charity Dinner.

Pottery With Purpose - IHS Student Artwork

Immokalee High School students painted the pottery with acrylics and then sprayed a clear coat of gloss to create the final works of art.
