Project Management: (2011) The Texas Roadhouse Restaurant’s (TRR) corporate offices invested two million dollars of charitable contributions to improve the Immokalee community. TRR contacted various non-profit organizations in the community and requested proposals on what improvements would beautify their facilities. As a result, iTECH’s Multimedia Design program conceptualized a 35 x 40 foot mural on the front of the Sanders Pine Community administration office. After 150 hours of pre-planning, preparation, and using the budget diligently, over 80 Texas Roadhouse volunteers (flown in from around the country) painted the mural. The mural included children, the U.S. flag, an eagle, and harvest fields.
