Setting the Pace: Recruited and invited to teach art and design at Immokalee High School in 1994 by the newly appointed administration. Upon starting, I quickly took the initiative to execute change to the art classroom setting (from basic tables and chairs to drawing horses, track lighting, and a model’s platform for figure drawing and observational studies). Taught drawing, painting, art 2D, airbrush, ceramics/pottery, 3D sculpture, computer graphics, 3D graphics, and 2D animation. Taught students portfolio design and helped them prepare and submit their art portfolios to art colleges and university art programs.
