1994 – 2007 Secondary Education

Florida Panther – Dr. Jane Goodall: Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) sponsored an annual poster contest to promote awareness for the Florida Panther endangered species. The competition took place three consecutive years (2003 - 2005) and was open to all Collier County high schools. On the third year, the FGCU Florida Panther Awareness Project invited Dr. Jane Goodall to judge the competition at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida in Naples. I directed and critiqued my students; they students won 1st place in 2003, 2004, and 2005 and received Disney Animal Kingdom tickets for their families.
